Elections in Ukraine and "political prostitution"

Tearing off a bit from polish politics, I'd like to arouse your interest in the elections in Ukraine. Our eastern neighbor may be called a 'lame democracy'. Since 'the Orange Revolution' 5 years ago, when half of the nation stood up against counterfeited elections, and russian interference in politics,  Ukrainians experienced rather miserable spectacle of corruption, fall of governments and political fight between recent aliants - presidents Viktor Yushchenko and prime minister- beautiful Yulia Tymoschenko.

The day before elections the society is tired of seeing the same faces. Current President has no chance for reelection (approximately 3%), Tymoszenko - between 15 and 20% according to different polls - has  some chance of entering a second tour, but the the most supported candidate is former prime minister - Viktor Yanukovych - ex opponent of Yushchenko, and a symbol of russian interference.

Here are some pictures from colorful Ukrainian campaign:

Folk and rustic motives seems to be important for Ukrainians. President Yushchenko.

Beautiful Julia - nothing to add.

Wiktor Janukowycz - polls lieder.

And now a bit of exotic happening I always enjoy: Ukrainian activists from "Femen" movement, protesting against 'political prostitution'...
